District Judge Michalis Papathanasiou accepted the extradition request of the Kurdish political refugee Kenan Ayas and executed the extradition warrant to the German law enforcement authorities. According to the decision, Kenan’s extradition to be executed in ten days, and refers to a conditional surrender and serving a sentence in Cyprus if he is sentenced in Germany.
