Kenan was brought again before the Larnaca District Court on 21 March 2023. The proceedings were of procedural nature and concerned the approval of legal aid for Kenan Ayas. A request for further detention was granted and the President of the Court stated that a decision should be made within 35 days of the arrest of the wanted person. He was given additional time to be heard regardıng the proceeding and it was stated that his defence counsel, Efstathios Efstathiou, should be given access to the file of Ayas, which was at the Asylum Service.
